Dave founded EPP in 2013 after a successful rugby career, and both runs our senior-level searches within elite sport and heads up our advisory practice.
Having played professionally for Orrell, Harlequins and Connacht, Dave began his search career at Miramar Global, where he worked across the energy and industrial sectors whilst also captaining Esher in the Championship. As a Director, Dave led the company’s retained commercial and operational searches across major European markets, whilst also starting their sports division. Noticing performance sport lacked the search process and rigour found in other industries, he left to create EPP, and remains the only search and advisory specialist in the UK with a playing career behind him.
Dave regularly speaks at industry events and has been a guest tutor for The FA, Loughborough University and Salford University’s MSc in Sporting Directorship.
Dave completed his Executive MBA from the University of Bath Business School in 2021. He earned his BSc in Sports Science and Physiology from Leeds University.
