We are pleased to announce that the chairman of European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) Simon Halliday has joined Elite Performance Partners as our latest Non-Executive Director and Rugby Adviser. His knowledge and expertise will be invaluable to the team.

Simon is a former international rugby player who won two Grand Slams and was a member of the England squad that reached the World Cup final in 1991.

Alongside his international rugby career, Simon had a successful 20-year career in banking for the likes of UBS, Lehman Brothers and Nomura as well as a stint at the RFU. This unique skill set and understanding allows Simon to bring a wealth of commercial expertise as well as a genuine understanding of aligning the organisational business objectives within the context of high performance sport. His background aligns with the core principles and values of our business.

Simon says: “I have a passion for business and sport bringing the best out of each other. Recruiting well in sport is critical and much-needed. Elite Performance Partners are employing a model which I admire and is very differentiated from the run-of-the mill recruitment consultancy business. I am proud to be involved and look forward to helping in their long-term success.”
