Joe Inman
Research Associate - EPP
Joe grew up with sport at the heart of family life, both playing and supporting from the stands, with a grandfather among the first 500 people to hold a Bath Rugby season ticket. This passion now drives his associate researcher role with EPP, where data and people have to tell the same story.
Joining EPP in May 2026, Joe works where research meets real-world performance. The role is about closing the gap between analysis and practical application: evaluating key metrics to find the candidates who will thrive in high-level sporting teams and organisations, placing experts where their skills will make the biggest difference.
Before EPP, Joe spent two years with Bath Rugby, working game days at the Rec and events at Farleigh House. Seeing the club from the inside, from match day through to its work in the local community, gave a grounded understanding of how a professional sports organisation really operates.
Joe holds a BA (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Exeter. His focus on international communication and political analysis sharpened the ability to unpick narratives and interpret complex data. Those skills now feed directly into his current role.
Sport ran through university life too, involved with football, badminton, touch rugby and in a founding role with the Golf Society, helping grow a newly established club. That commitment was recognised with the Exeter Award in his final year.
